Diego Ferreira

Diego Ferreira is a Senior Research Specialist at Inter Science, where he is part of a multidisciplinary applied science team focused on AI and Quantum Computing.

With a PhD in Physics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), his expertise bridges theoretical rigor and industrial application. He specializes in developing Quantum Algorithms for financial applications — including fraud detection and portfolio optimization — as well as evolutionary coding agents. Previously, he worked as a Senior Data Engineer Consultant at EY.

Diego’s research contributions span quantum correlations, entanglement spectrum analysis, and coherence in many-body systems, as well as applied work in quantum algorithms for near-term hardware (QAOA) and tensor network techiniques for quantum computing.
