Henrique Assumpção

Henrique Assumpção is a Machine Learning Researcher at Inter Science and a Master’s student in Computer Science at UFMG, advised by Prof. Gabriel Coutinho.

His research interests span machine learning and graph theory. At Inter, he works mainly on representation learning for large transaction networks, language models, and recommender systems. At UFMG, he studies algebraic graph theory with an emphasis on distance-regular graphs and association schemes.

Previously, he conducted undergraduate research in spectral and algebraic graph theory under Prof. Gabriel Coutinho, and worked on graph neural networks and NLP under Prof. Fabricio Murai. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from UFMG (2020–2025).
